Conceived in the summer of 2013, this Emmy® nominated series emerged as a beacon of cultural and economic revitalization, a strategic initiative aimed at amplifying the allure of a quaint county nestled within Minnesota's north woods. Collaborating seamlessly with local government, the area's tourism bureau, as well as various non-profit organizations and private foundations, A+B transformed the vision into a catalyst of community engagement.
At its core, this partnership was driven by a shared objective: to fortify the region's digital footprint while concurrently fostering cultural and economic growth. Through the lens of each episode, viewers were granted intimate access to the hidden treasures and timeless charm of Itasca.

By leveraging the power of storytelling, "Gems of Itasca" transcended the confines of traditional media, serving as a stimulant for economic and cultural growth and development. As online platforms became conduits for dissemination, the series emerged as a valuable tool for attracting tourism, spurring local commerce, nurturing a sense of communal pride, and picking up awards along the way, including an esteemed regional Emmy® nomination in 2017.

Committed Connections + Reif Dance

A+B was commissioned by Blandin Foundation in 2013 to produce a short profile film as part of their 'Committed Connections' series. The video was later utilized as a valuable tool in Grand Rapids' state bonding campaign with a special viewing organized for the Minnesota State legislators. The profile film helped to successfully secure $4+ million in state funding for a multi million dollar expansion of The Reif Performing Arts Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
